Overview

Linc AI Interviewer Recorder is a screen and audio recording extension designed for AI-guided process documentation. This Extension enables users to record their screen and voice while demonstrating business workflows during AI-guided interview sessions.

1. Screen Recordings: Video recordings of your screen activity captured during active recording sessions
2. Audio Recordings: Audio recordings of your voice narration captured during active recording sessions

   • Recording timestamps and duration
   • Backend server URL

When Data is Collected

Data is only collected when you explicitly initiate a recording session through the Linc AI Interviewer web application. The Extension does not collect any data passively or without your explicit action.

The Extension does NOT collect:

• Browsing history or web browsing activity
• Personal information such as name, email, or contact details
• Financial information
• Health information
• Data from websites you visit (except during active recording sessions)
• Any data outside of active recording sessions

How We Use Your Data

Purpose of Data Collection

We use the collected data solely for the following purposes:

1. Process Documentation: To create recordings of business workflows for documentation purposes
2. AI Analysis: To enable AI-guided analysis and generation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process maps
3. Session Management: To maintain recording session state across browser tabs and restarts
4. Service Delivery: To provide the core functionality of the Extension as described in the Chrome Web Store listing

Data Processing

• Screen and audio recordings are processed to generate process documentation, SOPs, and BPMN diagrams

1. Your Organization's Backend Server: Recordings are uploaded to your organization's secure backend server (as configured in the Linc AI Interviewer web application). The Extension uses authenticated API calls to upload recordings.

   • Cloud storage (for recording storage)
   • AI processing services (for workflow analysis)

   These services are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only for the purposes described in this policy.

We do NOT:

• Transfer your data for credit-worthiness or lending purposes

• No data is permanently stored on your local device

• All data transmissions use modern cryptography (HTTPS/TLS)
• Recordings are uploaded using authenticated API calls with session credentials
• Access to recordings is restricted to authorized personnel within your organization
• Session data is automatically cleared when recording sessions complete or are aborted

Data Retention

• Recordings are retained according to your organization's data retention policies
• Session metadata is automatically deleted when recording sessions end
• You may request deletion of your recordings through your organization's Linc AI Interviewer administrator

User Rights and Controls

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request access to your recordings stored on your organization's servers
• Deletion: Request deletion of your recordings (subject to your organization's policies)
• Control: Start, pause, resume, and stop recordings at any time
• Uninstall: Remove the Extension at any time, which will stop all data collection

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights regarding your data:

1. Contact your organization's Linc AI Interviewer administrator
2. Use the Extension's controls to stop or abort recording sessions
3. Uninstall the Extension through Chrome's extension management interface

Permissions Used

The Extension requires the following permissions, each used solely for its stated purpose:

• tabs: To display the recording toolbar and synchronize recording state across browser tabs
• activeTab: To inject the recording interface and request screen/microphone permissions
• storage: To temporarily store session state (cleared when sessions end)
• tabCapture: To capture tab content for screen recording
• scripting: To inject content scripts for the recording interface
• host_permissions: To communicate with the Linc AI Interviewer web application and upload recordings

Limited Use Compliance

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We limit our use of user data to:

• Providing or improving the Extension's single purpose (screen and audio recording for process documentation)
• Only transferring data to third parties necessary for providing or improving the Extension's functionality
• Not allowing humans to read user data except:
  • With explicit user consent (e.g., technical support)
  • When aggregated and anonymized for internal operations
  • When necessary for security purposes or legal compliance

We do NOT:
